ALOJAMIENTOS AGAVE stands on Avenida Andalucia, the main street of Tabernas, so shops, cafés, bakeries, pharmacies, restaurants and the bus stop are all a short walk from the door. The whitewashed old town rises just behind, with the hilltop Tabernas Castle about 900 m away on foot.
Tabernas is the gateway to Europe's only semi-desert, a landscape of ochre ravines and open skies that has starred in countless Western films. The village is a natural base for hiking, cycling, motorcycle touring, stargazing and day trips across the province of Almería, from the coastal beaches of Cabo de Gata to the mountain roads of the Sierra de los Filabres.

Getting here
From Almeria Airport, follow the A-92 towards Guadix and leave at the Tabernas exit; the drive takes around 30 minutes and the property is on the main avenue through the village. Intercity buses between Almería and Guadix stop within a couple of minutes' walk. Please note that there is no parking on site, although free street parking is usually available nearby, and bicycles or motorcycles can be stored close to the accommodation.
